Peace, calm gently gliding over me...
Re-connecting with old friends, mending strained relationships
Appreciating, no, actually, Worshipping
LIFE.
Gratefully accepting its challenges and perks,
I can’t think of the last time I felt such
Clarity
Peace
Love
Balance and Equilibrium
Life is good.
And I do not simply witness its beauty;
I am a player, practively maneuvering and contributing...
learning and reflecting...
enjoying and laughing.
I have so many blessings to count:
Fortunate have I been to have wonderful people touch my life, and to be capable of such powerful experiences.
I thank God.
I thank Myself.
I thank the Universe.
We live to LOVE, HONOR, and CHERISH our time on this Earth.
For me this has meant being available to recognize patterns...
To accept adore discordant harmonies and find the meaning within.
This is the thread of our lives and the  Message of our soul
I have found my thread... and wish nothing but the same for
Humankind.

This photo was taken during the first Holiday Mini-Portrait Social. The event took place on November 16th, and got the holiday season started early, with Christmas music, fruit cake, hot chocolate and candy canes. It was so exciting to meet and photograph 22 families throughout the course of the day. Thanks to all who came-- I hope it was an enjoyable way to get your portraits done this season! We hope to see you again in 2011!

And from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate those special folks who were involved in the planning and execution of the event. From arranging for food and drinks, to sending out invitations, to being co-hosts at the event-- this event could not have happened without your effort, and I am so very grateful for your time and energy and best wishes.

This little boy really got me in the holiday spirit-- He was an absolute *jolly* kid. His blue eyes twinkled, and he smiled and laughed. And he also looked adorable in his green and red outfit! I also love to make sure I capture a range of emotions, and so found a moment where he climbed up on a chair to look out the window. So pensive and focused- I love how it is so different from the first photo.
